Humanitarian Information

IMS works, in cooperation with local and international actors, for the provision of timely, journalistic viable and relevant humanitarian information to people affected by humanitarian emergencies and natural disasters. One of  the IMS humanitarian tools is the Humanitarian Information Facility Centre in Zimbabwe which ensures rapid, comprehensive and accessible humanitarian information produced and disseminated locally.

IMS adds humanitarian information to its portfolio to follow the need for access to viable information on the ground in countries affected by crisis. A well-functioning center in Zimbabwe which works to enhance the flow of verified information produced and disseminated by local media serves as a pilot and working laboratory
