In close collaboration with Arab and Danish filmmakers, IMS is offering support to talented filmmakers in the Arab region through various means: A regional film institute; an exchange program for film students and through financial support to production of documentary films. The Danish exchange at Ayam Beirut Al Cinema'iya 2010

The documentaries of six young Lebanese filmmakers who visited Denmark earlier in 2009 and 2010 with support from IMS will have their films screened during the Ayam Beirut Al Cinema Film Festival on 22 September
In 2009 and 2010, a group of Lebanese young filmmakers were selected to travel to Denmark to make a documentary in an attempt by the Nathional Film School of Denmark to support the artistic development of the directors’ personal visual film language and as part of the school's documentary filmmaking course. The Lebanese students were sent abroad to make documentary films entirely on their own.
Six Lebanese directors will screen the result of their works during the Beirut Film Festival on Tuesday, 21 September at 6 pm and on Wednesday 22 September at 9.30 pm at Metropolis Cinema – Empire Sofil in Beirut.
