The IMS “Media and Dialogue” focus area aims to enhance freedom of expression and, through exchanges and collaboration between media professionals, generate more nuanced media coverage in Denmark as well as in the countries of cooperation. IMS is looking for a student assistant (15-20 hours a week) for its Media and Dialogue Unit which is responsible for IMS activities in the Arab world

 

IMS is an international organisation based in Copenhagen, established in 2001 with the support of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with an international board including representatives from both Danish and international media organisations. We are looking for a student assistant who:

  • Has the mind and interest for various administrative tasks and light case management in cooperation with administration, the programme team and our many partners in the Arab world and Iran;
  • Is fluent in spoken and written English;
  • May know Arabic (an advantage);
  • Is well-versed in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Has a head for numbers and can understand and check financial reports;
  • Has a good sense of order and is thorough;
  • Is interested in working with media in an international environment.
