Media & Conflict

IMS works with media in countries affected by conflict and severe human insecurity to strengthen the media's ability to actively impact on reducing violence and building peace. In these countries, media has an important role to play as an active promoter of human rights and democratisation, as well as a facilitator of conflict reduction and resolution.
