Speech for Lasantha 4 May 2009

World Press Freedom Award 2009 was given to Lasantha Wickrematunge, who was killed in Sri Lanka in 2008. In the award ceremony on 4 May in Kathmandu, Sunanda Deshapriya, Sri Lankan journalist, spoke about the legacy of Lasantha and what he called the failure of Sri Lankan media.
