Analysis of Professionalism in Rwandan Media, 2004

This report was produced by the Rwanda Media Monitoring Project team with support from IMS and Norwegian People's Aid. In its first report presented in November 2003, the Rwanda Media Monitoring Project team examined the way Rwandan media faired in the coverage of the first Rwanda multiparty legislative elections which took place between September 29th and October 3th, 2003. The current report, (phase N° II), devotes its analysis to the treatment of the information by the media. At this time, it focuses on the information that covers all topics nationally. The report puts a particular emphasis on professional performance of the Rwandan media within the period between 15th November 2003 and 15th January 2004.
