"Under an agreement of collaboration, the International Media Support (IMS), the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX), and the Media Foundation for West Africa, are to work with Somalia-based press freedom, media, and human rights organisations for the development of a long-term free expression and press freedom strategy for Somalia. The object of the collaboration is to assist the Somali organisations produce a strategy and workplan for cooperation among them so they can develop a sustainable, inclusive free expression monitoring activity. The IMS, the IFEX and the MFWA are also to work with the Somali organisations to formulate an advocacy strategy and a programme for developing a framework for a democratic media law and policy for post-conflict Somalia..."
