The report presents the findings of a fact-finding mission fielded to Sri Lanka in October 2006 by five international media organisations including IMS. The International Mission set out to assess the current media situation in the country and the impact on the media of the escalating fighting between Sri Lankan government forces and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eeelam (LTTE).
